Light Meter Calibration

Light Meter Calibration

ATS offers light meter calibrations that are traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) for a broad range of device models from various vendors. Light meters are utilized in a variety of industries and applications including photography, cinematography, OSHA compliance, security, quality assurance, photosensitive materials, regulatory requirements, process controls, and clean room standards.

Why is the Accuracy of Photometric Measurements Important?

The quantity of light is too difficult to measure with the naked eye. Relying on measurements from an uncalibrated instrument may result in the violation of regulatory compliance, destruction of delicate materials, inaccurate inspections or unsafe conditions.

High Precision, Quality Assured.

Our trained professionals evaluate test points across the ranges of your device to ensure the light meter provides consistently reliable measurements. We are also capable of calibrating light meters to meet your specific requirements. Our precise measurements range from fractions of a lux to 42,000 lux.

Our calibration processes are carefully documented and closely monitored both internally and externally. Our calibration laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and our Quality Management System complies with the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, ISO/IEC 17025, 10CFR Part 21, ISO 9001 and 10CFR50 Appendix B.
