The Applied Technical Services liquid chromatography lab uses a powerful piece of equipment, called the Shimadzu Tandem Quadrupole LC/MS/MS Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer, to perform more complex chemical testing. The LC/MS/MS can detect organic compounds at ultra-low levels (parts per trillion level), and can be used in wide ranging fields from pharmaceuticals and life sciences to leading edge materials research.
ATS has utilized the instrumentation in the consumer product testing and polymer industry. Our organic chemists performing analyses on the LC/MS/MS have over 35 years of experience in a broad range of organic and polymer chemistry. We have developed immense capabilities on the LC/MS/MS, and continually implement additional methods to identify specific compounds.
