For the above, our approach is to obtain the best value possible by defining the work required and obtaining competitive bids from qualified contractors experienced with the specific necessary work. For new construction projects and or projects that have already been planned, we offer the following services:
Commissioning:
- Consultant review of design
- Consultant oversight during construction
- Consultant oversight at project close-out testing and documentation
Construction Oversight:
- Consultant site visits for quality assurance
- Consultant response to RFIs and change order requests
- Confirmation of testing and inspections performed by others
These services are available for all aspects of the building exterior including:
- Roofing
- Exterior walls including fenestrations (windows, doors, storefront)
- Waterproofing — subgrade walls, decks / plazas, and garage / parking
- Flood and surface groundwater mitigation and control / protection
Experience
All DRH personnel has a minimum of 25 years of experience in the field of building envelope consulting (Roofs, Walls, and/or Waterproofing). It is this practical experience and exposure to problem resolution applied directly and not through understudies that sets DRH apart from many consulting practices. Our highly experienced senior level consultants are who you will see in the field, construction trailers, or job sites.

Projects and Processes
Our experts perform projects as straightforward as condition surveys with reporting, budgeting, and management planning all as optional output. In addition, we deploy non-destructive and destructive testing as necessary to assure problems discovered are fully understood, and to determine if any cost saving approaches may be considered to resolve a client problem.
