About the Job

Job Summary

The ATS Calibrations department is seeking to fill full-time Field Calibration jobs in our corporate office located in Marietta, Georgia. Over time, ATS has widely expanded its client base and serviced industries, providing full service calibration, dimensional inspection and repair services to our clients.

About this Role

This position is responsible for the field calibration of measuring and testing equipment to ensure consistent, quantifiable findings. Proper reporting and analysis procedures in documenting of projects is also required, with other necessary duties issued as specified. The individual will gain experience working both in a team-based setting and independently. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking advancement in their understanding of metrology.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

Applying candidates must have previous experience working within the field of Metrology and calibration. In addition, adept candidates should also possess:

    Professional, hands-on experience of process analytical equipment

    Ability to define problems and interpret technical instructions, abide by technical calibrations procedures

    Knowledge of ATS Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 17025)

    Customer-oriented interpersonal and written communication skills

    Team-player, yet willing to work independently as needed

    As this is a Field (On-Site) position, daily travel will be required. Most travel conducted is within a 5-hour range of Marietta, GA. Overnight travel may be required (based on project and client needs).

In the Field

As a Field Calibration Technician, you will be working directly with our clients. On occasion, clients prefer their equipment to be calibrated on-site simply out of ease and convenience. However, others simply do out of necessity. Equipment such as Compression and Tensile Testers, Hardness Testers and Environmental Chambers are simply too big to be tested within the ATS Lab. Field testing provides our clients with the security of uncovering effective solutions without having to leave their methodical environments.
