About the Job


ATS is seeking competent candidates for various Mechanical Calibration jobs available at our corporate office in Marietta, Georgia. The world of ATS Calibrations is looking for an individual who is willing to perform necessary Metrology practices abiding by specific operating procedures to ensure uniformity and precise results. The Mechanical Calibration position is a great opportunity for an individual who is seeking to strengthen their mastery for potential future advancement within the field of Metrology.

About this Role

The Mechanical Calibration Technician position involves the observation and calibration of Mechanical testing and measurement equipment. This includes a range of serviceable equipment such as Pressure Gauges and Transducers, Manometers, and Calipers. Technicians are also expected to report, analyze, and deliver results of the inspection to the respective client, providing descriptive insight into the diagnostic of the equipment calibrated.


ATS requires appicants to have applicable experience working within Metrology and Calibrations or a related field. Other requirements for suitable applicants are as follows:

Strong analytical skills, able to determine relevant data and to draw insightful inferences

Team player, organized and possesses ability to prioritize necessary responsibilities and duties

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills grounded in customer service

Comfortable working with minimal supervision/guidance or in a team-based setting

Basic computer literacy skills, comfortable using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)

Mechanical Calibration Technician positions offered by ATS can be either Laboratory or Field (On-site). Field positions require daily travel, typically within a 5-hour range of Marietta, Georgia. Overnight travel may be required (depending on project and client needs).

Established in 1987, the ATS Calibration Lab possesses a vast range of services operating underneath specific outlined accreditations and standards. The Lab is accredited to ISO 17025 by the A2LA, with additional Aerospace, Automotive Military and Nuclear companies approving the Lab as a qualified service provider. ATS seeks accreditation when necessary to further our mission towards the quality improvement process for client excellence.
