Mechanical And Special Testing Increased Talent And Improved Capabilities

2019 was a year of expansion and growth for the ATS Mechanical and Special Testing Group. We have added several new experts to our team with multiple skills that have increased our ability to service our customers.  Late in year we moved our Electrical Testing Lab into a new space that offers us 50% more space and the capacity for continued growth of electrical testing services.   Our Weld Lab added new hardness machines to allow for quicker service to customers. The newest such machine is the Duramin-100 ACT Hardness Tester, which has capabilities to be modified for multiple program settings, allowing it to run simultaneously while the team runs the manual testers.  This allows our weld team to be more efficient while continuing to provide our customers with quality service.  Finally, we have updated our Tinius Olsen machines to their new Horizon software in both our Marietta and Chesapeake facilities.   This software programs allows us to collect the testing data, store it, analyze it, and share it with our customers more quickly and easily.
