At ATS, we listen to our customers and look for every opportunity to increase our capabilities to fulfill their testing needs.
In 2020 we expanded our services in the Weld and Mechanical Testing Group by adding the MTS Criterion Model 45 EM Load Frame utilizing a 100 kN load cell. This new equipment offers our clients the ability to have Elevated Temperature Tensile Tests up to 600°C, as well as performing a wide range of tests, including Room Temperature Compression Tests. High Temperature Tensile Tests (elevated temperature) use a combination of heat and tension inside the furnace to elevate the behavior of the material and output the appropriate data. We use the MTS TW Elite Software to run our tests according to many relevant specifications, including ISO, ASTM, and various others.
