ASTM D618: Conditioning Plastics for Testing
ASTM D618-21 is a standard that refers to the method used to condition plastic-based materials for testing. This conditioning is used to achieve several different effects, such as thermal cycling, humidity testing, and establishing a conditional baseline of temperature and humidity to ensure test results can be reproduced. ASTM D618-21 and ISO 291 are comparable standards, though ASTM D618 is more adaptable and precise.
