Applied Technical Services features an advanced electromagnetic interference and compatibility conducted emission testing lab – DO160 S21 – capable of performing a variety of EMI and EMC testing services.
RTCA DO-160 Section 21: Conducted Emission Testing
RTCA DO-160 Section 21 testing is performed to verify that aircraft equipment does not emit excessive radio frequency noise that could potentially interfere with other equipment or machinery. RTCA DO-160 Section 21 testing does not include signals emitting from antenna terminals or transmitters. Compliance with this standard is required for all types and sizes of aircraft.
