Ultra-Trace Element Analysis for Chemicals of Concern

The recently acquired Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS/MS) and Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) continue to meet the growing needs of our clients to test for compounds down to ultra trace levels.

As various states, retailers and countries increase chemical requirements, ATS has improved chemical testing capabilities to help our clients meet various stringent requirements. In addition to testing for compounds at lower detection limits, ATS has also increased the list of compounds we can analyze for. This is mainly due to California Proposition 65 requirements, which is a list of substances that are potentially hazardous to health, and involves the right consumers have to be aware of exposure to these substances. As this list and other regulations evolve, ATS stays informed to develop capabilities to test for chemicals/compounds that are concerning and/or regulated. Some categories of expanded testing include phthalates, flame retardants, alkylphenol, nonylphenol ethoxylates, PFOA, BPA, and many other compounds.
