ESD Lab
Applied Technical Services features a highly advanced, ISO 9001:2015 registered and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited (A2LA) ESD lab with a frequently expanding list of testing services.
What is ESD Testing?
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) testing is performed to monitor the exchange of electrostatic current between two subjects. Electrostatic discharge can result in the transfer of thousands of volts of electricity, potentially causing significant damage to electronic components.
The ESD Lab at Applied Technical Services
The ATS ESD lab conducts electrostatic discharge testing to ensure that our clients maintain compliance with standards established by the RTCA (Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics) and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). ATS provides ESD testing in compliance with MIL-STD-461 CS118 and RTCA-DO-160 Section 25.
