OSHPD Description

OSHPD stands for the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. OSHPD certification is a process that evaluates the resistance of non-structural components to earthquake events. OSHPD regulates the seismic resistance of items critical to the operations of healthcare facilities in the State of California.

At Applied Technical Services, we proudly maintain compliance with all of the following standards and codes:

One of the most important pieces of equipment ATS uses during seismic testing is called a triaxial seismic shaker. This gives our highly skilled and dedicated technicians the ability to not only test for structural integrity but also instrumentation functionality, and component performance.
ATS Goals

At ATS our trained and qualified technicians thoroughly test to the required standards resulting in reports, results or analysis of structural integrity, functionality and performance in a concise and productive manner for our clients.

We understand that your time is valuable. By combining all elements of the seismic certification process under one roof (engineering review, testing and certification itself), ATS offers an efficient and turnkey solution for OSHPD seismic certification and compliance.
In addition to our general certification and testing standards, we also offer a wide range of value-added services that most other testing providers cannot meet: Fully equipped machine shop for in-house fixture fabrication and modifications.
