Automotive VOC Testing

The ATS Chemistry department recently invested in a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU), which will allow for expanded automotive VOC testing capabilities. ATS acquired the unit to meet the growing demands of the automotive industry for testing to methods such as VDA 278, Analysis of VOC and Fog Emissions. Although VDA 278 is most commonly used to test emissions in the automotive industry, it is a widely accepted standard for VOC testing among other industries. In the near future, ATS will have additional capabilities for VOC emission chamber test methods.
