Applied Technical Services performs electromagnetic compatibility testing in our advanced EMC testing lab.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
EMC testing assesses an electronic device’s ability to operate in its standard environment without causing interference that impacts the operation of other equipment. The amount of electromagnetic interference emitted by a device must not exceed levels determined by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), the RTCA (Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics), and the DOD (United States Department of Defense). All equipment with electronic components causes electromagnetic interference. As the number of electronic devices in all fields continues to increase exponentially, so does the importance of electromagnetic compatibility testing.
