The Applied Technical Services Family of Companies (ATS FoC) offers Barfield 1811NG calibration services to ensure the accuracy and precision of the Barfield 1811NG digital pitot static test set. A pitot-static system measures an aircraft’s vertical speed, altitude, and airspeed, and its accuracy is incredibly important to the performance and safety of aircraft. Pitot-static systems are heavily regulated and require inspection every 24 months. Our Barfield 1811NG calibration services help our clients ensure their pitot static test sets are accurate and ready to support aviation applications and operations.

What is Barfield 1811NG?

The Barfield 1811NG digital pitot static test set performs altimeter and static systems inspections and tests, and it’s revered as a cost-effective solution for companies in need of support for their aircraft. The fully automated and extremely accurate testing tool is the latest product in Barfield’s Imperium series. The series blends versatility, durability, and user-friendly design into an affordable package that helps users do the following:

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of results
  • Increase labor efficiency
  • Support helicopters, UAVs, Non-RVSM corporate and regional aircraft, and general aviation

The 1811NG is highly accurate with a very minor calibration drift of 0.025%. When properly calibrated, the test set’s accuracy altitude is ±14ft at 20k ft and ±10ft at 10k ft, and its accuracy airspeed is ±0.1 kts at 500 kts and ±0.5 kts at 50 kts.
