Investigating origin and cause of fire loss requires a consolidation of skills, knowledge, experience, and technology. At ATS, we initiate investigative assignments in a complete and expedited approach to minimize the challenge of gathering hidden or tainted evidence from a fire scene. Our incident site investigators, chemists, and Certified Fire Investigators (CFI) have the proficiency to investigate and determine the origin and cause of fires. In addition to our thorough evaluations, we analyze and prepare each case to withstand the demands of litigation.
Our fire investigators utilize only nationally accredited lab facilities which enables efficient and precise analytical reporting. All investigative inquiries consist of careful and systematic practices into the origin and cause of fire and explosion outcomes. ATS’ certified fire investigators (CFI) provide numerous services including but not limited to vehicle and structural fire analysis, combines, digital and UAV (drone) scanning, secured evidence storage, arc mapping, failure analysis, product liability investigations, liability evaluations for structures in compliance with fire codes, technical and desktop reviews, theory testing and scene preservation. By utilizing new data collecting technology such as UAVs (drones), our FAA Certified pilots can make sweeping surveillance from previously inaccessible viewpoints. Our well-rounded approach permits us to manage a more multitiered investigation while providing clients prompt and defined results.
