Military Veterans and Applied Technical Services
Applied Technical Services recognizes the sacrifices that our Veterans have made to ensure our way of life. Beyond their commitment to our country, we appreciate these individuals’ inclination to continue their service in their civilian communities; they demonstrate higher rates of voting, volunteering, making charitable donations, and communicating with public officials than nonmilitary citizens. Furthermore, the discipline, commitment, and experience that separating service members bring to the civilian job market make them invaluable additions to any organization. Sadly, this same subset of our workforce suffers from higher unemployment rates because of certain difficulties inherent to the process of transitioning back into civilian life. ATS does what we can to support our Veterans by employing personnel with a history of military service.
Our Commitment to Veteran Employment
We commit ourselves to give back to this exceptional group of people — made up of active and retired servicemen and -women, National Guard members, reservists, and military families — by providing and promoting Veteran employment opportunities within our company. Our hiring managers understand the various ways that applicants’ military experience translates into skills relevant to civilian employment, and work with service members to find the best organizational fit with ATS. We lay the groundwork for service members’ growth within our company by supporting their ongoing education and certification, helping to bridge any gap between the relevant skills they gained during their service and the skills applicable to their new positions. ATS seeks to provide not just jobs but careers for veterans.
