Ingress Protection Testing Capabilities
ATS Determines the Level of Ingress Protection Displayed by Client Sample Products
Products with internal mechanical or electronic components often enclose these parts inside of a sealed compartment. These compartments are designed to keep out foreign elements such as solids, particles (like dust or sand) and liquids away from internal components. Allowing such foreign elements to leak inside can undermine the product’s functionality and safety. Subjecting products to ingress protection testing can determine their IP rating and reveal whether they effectively protect their internal working components. Applied Technical Services’ Environmental Testing division offers ingress protection testing capabilities including, but not limited to, the following list:
