NDT Inspections: ATS’ certified staff of NDT professionals provides quality inspection services to a broad range of industry sectors throughout the US and abroad. Inspections are performed by highly trained technicians certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, NAS410 & CP189. ATS travels nationally, and internationally to perform nondestructive testing in all disciplines. Our in-depth knowledge, and experience ranging from aerospace to nuclear industry requirements allow us to provide inspections on a wide variety of materials and structures.

Calibration Services: ATS Calibration, established in 1987 provides full service calibration, dimensional inspection and repair services. ATS is approved by multiple major companies in the Aerospace, Automotive, Defense and Nuclear Industries. The data generated is directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Besides having ISO 9001 certification, our Calibration Lab is accredited to ISO 17025 by A2LA. This is our assurance to you that our equipment is calibrated to accepted national standards and that our procedures are validated as appropriate for the wide range of dimensional metrology instruments that we calibrate.

Dimensional Inspections: ATS’s Dimensional Inspections Lab houses multiple Ultra-High Accuracy Automated Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s), combined with the greatest available software PC-DMIS CAD++ 2013. Along with additional capabilities such as surface finish profilometers, non-contact measurements with the vision system and optical comparators, and some of the most experienced CMM programmers in the industry, Applied Technical Services is one of the most comprehensive Dimensional Inspection sources available.

Rope Access Inspections: ATS makes safety a priority by having all of our technicians receive advanced training and “work at heights” certifications. Our QA program continually monitors our rope access equipment and observes our technician’s safety practices on an ongoing basis. We adhere to the ASTM E2505-07 standard which is the Industrial Rope Access Standard. Some of our most popular rope access services provided include inspections of bridges, boilers, tanks, wind tower and blade inspections, and amusement park rides.

Tank Inspections: At ATS our engineering services for tank inspections and integrity programs provide companies and industries the confidence to minimize unscheduled downtime, safety and environmental risks and at the same time maximize the benefits of their inspection dollars. Our engineers are experienced, hands-on field professionals implementing comprehensive testing and inspections per API 653/510/570 standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner positioning us above our competition.

Weld Inspections: Applied Technical Services, specializes in weld testing and inspections. We test to many different industry standards, including ASME, AWS, API, NAVSEA, MIL-STD and PED/EN. In order to meet our clients’ specific welding needs, we offer nondestructive testing for quality control and failure prevention, mechanical testing to measure weld performance, and chemical analysis for alloy identification. In addition, ATS qualifies and certifies welders using plate and/or pipe testing coupons. With decades of experience, ATS has earned an excellent reputation in the manufacturing, power generation, petrochemical, nuclear, automotive, aerospace, steel and commercial infrastructure industries.

Fall Protection Inspections: Applied Technical Services has both the technical knowledge and real-world expertise required to perform all ANSI and OSHA-mandated inspections, guaranteeing that your fall protection systems offer maximum safety to your work-at-heights users and maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations at all times. ATS representatives, many of whom have multiple certifications, both perform and thoroughly document all inspections to help verify that all applicable safety standards have been accounted for.

First Article Inspections: To ensure that a certain product is being manufactured exactly as it was designed, most companies will require that a first-article inspection is conducted before the components are mass-produced. This comprehensive process of product analysis allows manufacturers to both determine whether the first sample of the product complies with its design specifications, and to document the specific characteristics of the product for future use as a reference standard in quality assurance efforts. Applied Technical Services performs first article inspections to help our manufacturing clients consistently deliver products that fully adhere to their design specifications. First Article Inspection Reports can be complete with full Material Analysis including Hardness, Tensile Strength, Plating and Coating verifications, Dimensional and Surface Finish measurements utilizing our in-house dimensional, chemistry, mechanical and metallurgy labs. X-Ray, Mag Particle, Die Penetrant and Ultrasonic Testing can also be provided utilizing our comprehensive NDT Services.
