Applied Technical Services is expanding our inspection capabilities by adding a FARO laser scanning arm to our arsenal of technology. The arm is a highly versatile, non-contact coordinate measuring machine that can complete projects quickly and precisely. Unlike our fixed CMM or CT machines, the arm allows us to provide dimensional inspections on-site at customer facilities, in the field, and even in environments with extreme temperatures.
Portable CMM technology allows us to better serve our clients, especially in the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. The laser scanner allows us to create 3D models of parts and components, which can assist with applications such as reverse engineering. Using our portable scanning technology, we can help clients enhance productivity and accelerate turnaround times.
