When Do You Need Accelerated Life Cycle Testing?

Accelerated life cycle testing exposes materials, components, or products to expected service conditions to evaluate their durability and reliability. Many standard tests offer accelerated evaluations for resistance to different environmental factors, such as weathering, corrosion, and sun exposure.

Cyclic load, abrasion, and other destructive tests assess how well a sample withstands mechanical wear during its life. When no available standard sufficiently satisfies a client’s needs, ATS can create fully custom tests for determining a sample’s response to specific mechanical and environmental conditions.
