Moisture Analyzers
Moisture analyzers, also known as moisture balancers or moisture meters, determine the moisture content of various materials. Moisture analyzers accomplish this task by using heating units to completely dry out the sample. They then calculate moisture content by comparing the initial weight of the sample with its dry, moisture-less weight using a built-in balance.
Moisture analyzers may start to lose accuracy as a result of exposure to environmental conditions, aging, or mishandling. To maintain effective operation and valid data, moisture analyzers should be periodically calibrated. Our experienced technicians adjust both the heating unit and the balance in these analyzers individually to ensure uniform, repeatable results.
