PMI Solutions

Depending on the situation, various analytical instruments and testing methods can be used to accurately determine the metal content and composition of a sample. For quick alloy identification, we can use a handheld XRF (X-ray fluorescence) unit. In other situations, the OES orย ICP unitsย are used to evaluate samples. These methods are especially useful when assessing the composition of lighter elements.

Our expert chemists, metallurgists, and engineers work together to ensure all your testing needs are met in a timely manner. For a comprehensive material property identification, clients may request that we evaluate additional characteristics, such as tensile strength and hardness.
