Seismic Qualification Testing ICC-ES AC-156 (OSHPD)
Applied Technical Services, Inc. offers seismic qualification testing in full compliance with the requirements of ICC-ES AC-156 for nonstructural components, such as mechanical, electrical, architectural elements that are permanently attached to structures. The acceptance criteria applies to ones that have fundamental frequencies equal to or greater than 1.3 Hertz. Several California P.E.’s on staff for report review in accordance with OSHPD certification applications.
ATS has a significant advantage over other seismic labs regarding this qualification testing since we have a triaxial shaker table, which best simulates the seismic ground motion that occurs in a random manner simultaneously in all directions.
