Congratulations to ATS Marietta for successfully completing the re-accreditation process for ISO 17025.
After a rigorous, weeklong audit — wherein three assessors reviewed the entire list of methods across our Calibration, Chemistry, Mechanical Testing, and NDT accreditations — the A2LA determined that the Marietta Super Lab had displayed the knowledge and competency required for re-accreditation. The assessors went out of their way to praise everyone involved for their openness and hardworking attitudes over the course of the assessment.
Furthermore, the Super Lab was able to add new methods to each of the above scopes of accreditation, some seeing gains as large as 70%. We can expect these significant additions to translate into more revenue as ATS attracts potential clients with the promise that our testing proficiencies match their specific needs.
