Announcing Upcoming EMI/EMC Testing Capabilities
Fulfilling New Testing Needs Starting October 2021
Marietta, GA. (August 25, 2021) — Applied Technical Services is completing an electromagnetic interference/compatibility testing chamber. We are excited to begin offering this service to our aerospace and military clientele. EMI and EMC help keep electronic components compatible with the systems and subsystems they support. The slightest mismatch among electrical systems can cause major problems in the air, as the electromagnetic interference emitted by each electronic component can hinder the performance of the others. Manufacturers and parts suppliers can look to ATS to verify compatibility and compliance for their components upon the completion of our EMI/EMC testing chamber in October.
We plan to offer the following standards, with more specifications to be added upon future expansions:
- MIL-STD-461
- CE101
- CE102
- CS101
- CS114
- CS115
- CS116
- CS117
- CS118
- RE101
- RE102 up to 18GHz
- MIL-STD-704
- 28VDC (LDC)
- 400Hz 115VAC one-phase (SAC)
- 400Hz 115VAC three-phase (TAC)
- RTCA-DO 160
- Part 15: Magnetic Effect
- Part 16: Power Input
- Part 17: Voltage Spike
- Part 18: Audio Frequency Conducted Susceptibility
- Part 19: Induced Signal Susceptibility
- Part 20: Radio Frequency Susceptibility, conducted only
- Part 21: Emission of Radio Frequency Energy
- Part 22: Lightning Induced Transient Susceptibility up to Level 3
