Applied Technical Services offers magnetic particle testing training and certification courses to provide candidates with the skills and information they need to become certified in magnetic particle (MT) testing.
MT Training Courses
Our magnetic particle training and certification course sessions consist of 24 hours of instruction and hands-on experience over 3 days. Classes will cover all areas of magnetic particle testing necessary to prepare trainees for their certification exam, which will take place at the end of the final day of class.
ATS currently offers two magnetic particle courses:
- Magnetic Particle Testing Levels I & II
- Magnetic Particle Testing NAS410 Levels I & II
- Magnetic Particle Testing Standards
Applied Technical Services’ magnetic particle testing training and certification courses cover the following industry standard:
- ASTM E1444-05: Standard Practice for Magnetic Particle Testing
Our Magnetic Particle Testing Training and Certification Instructors
All nondestructive testing instructors at Applied Technical Services apply years of industry and training experience to their classroom instruction, ensuring that our graduates are prepared and confident in their new qualifications. Our NDT instructors remain current in all industry-specific practices and trends to provide comprehensive hands-on training, giving every candidate the instruction they need to succeed when performing magnetic particle inspections in the future.
At ATS, our instructors know the importance of developing real experience outside of the NDT classroom as well. Many of our NDT training and certification courses give trainees the opportunity to experience nondestructive testing and inspections before they are performing these services on their own.
