National Aerospace Standards
Applied Technical Services is a leading NDT company that offers a wide variety of NDT training that meets the specifications of the MIL-STD-410E and/or NAS certification for the new and more relevant NAS 410.
These standards are recommended practices and procedures established by the Aerospace Industries Association that should be followed by employers and their personnel who provide nondestructive testing services to military and government entities.
ATS’ training facility is located at our headquarters in Marietta, Georgia. We have a fully equipped classroom and laboratory facilities, including the use of our working NDT services division facilities. Our location, just 15 miles north of downtown Atlanta, provides easy access from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and major interstate exits.

- Eddy Current Level I — 40 Hours
- Eddy Current Level II — 40 Hours
- Liquid Penetrant Level I — 16 Hours
- Liquid Penetrant Level II — 16 Hours
- Magnetic Particle Level I — 16 Hours
- Magnetic Particle Level II — 16 Hours
- Radiography Level I — 40 Hours
- Radiography Level II — 40 Hours
- Ultrasonic Level I — 40 Hours
- Ultrasonic Level II — 40 Hours
Minimal On-The-Job Experience Hours Required
- Eddy Current Level I — 400 Hours
- Eddy Current Level II — 1200 Hours
- Liquid Penetrant Level I — 130 Hours
- Liquid Penetrant Level II — 270 Hours
- Magnetic Particle Level I — 130 Hours
- Magnetic Particle Level II — 400 Hours
- Radiography Level I — 400 Hours
- Radiography Level II — 1200 Hours
