Alloy Identification

Alloy Identification

Applied Technical Services provides a precise process for Alloy Identification to determine the chemical make-up of various materials.

Alloys are a blend of various metals as opposed to being comprised of only one type of metal. For instance, most stainless steels are a combination of iron, chromium, nickel or molybdenum. The Alloy Identification process precisely identifies the blend which makes up the alloy. Common alloys analyzed by ATS (just to name a few):

Common Alloy Identification Includes the Following Families

Industries served by ATS include: Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, Manufacturing, etc.

ATS has participated in round robin and proficiency testing programs, which indicate their dedication to delivering accurate results, for over 25 years.

ATS’s quality assurance program meets the most stringent industry requirements including ASME NQA-1. We are ISO 9001:2015 registered and our chemistry laboratory is ISO 17025 (A2LA) accredited.
