Weld Failure Analysis
For over 50 years, ATS has been performing quality inspections and testing. Weld Evaluations are performed on a daily basis in the field, and Weld Failure Analysis is conducted in our technically advanced labs.
Whether we are inspecting bridge welds or reviewing weld coupons for certification purposes, our experts and engineers have the experience and resources to accurately identify any flaw or discontinuity. With timely inspections, detailed reporting, and professional follow up; many companies have chosen ATS to be their testing and certification lab of choice. We currently serve a large variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, construction, maintenance, fabrication, manufacturing, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper, pipeline, railways, amusement parks, storage tanks and maritime. Our tests and inspections adhere to industry standards and regulations.
Our weld failure analysis team uses multiple testing techniques to determine the root cause of failures.

Weld Failure Analysis:
If a weld failure has caused personal injury or loss of assets, our Forensic Service Department offers litigation support. This support includes failure analysis, consulting, standards research, detailed report preparation, and expert witness testimony.
