Infrared Thermography

Infrared (IR) thermography is a nondestructive, noninvasive inspection method that measures infrared radiation, which we feel as heat, in a given area. IR thermography displays real-time imaging that can observe temperature differences of less than a centigrade degree. Thermography allows technicians to check for misbalancing, electrical connection issues, overheating, overloading, damaged insulation, underground equipment, and water penetration.

Motor Circuit Evaluation
Motor circuit evaluation (MCE) is an offline testing method that determines motor health. MCE may address factors such as resistive balancing, resistance and capacitance to ground, motor winding balancing, and polarization indexing. This testing method diagnoses rotor bar problems, eccentricity, defective motor connections, insulation system conditions, and other underlying conditions.
Passive Ultrasonics
Passive ultrasonic listening is a non-destructive, non-contact testing method that detects high-frequency sound waves. Passive ultrasonics can discern irregularities through ambient noise, identifying issues such as bearing anomalies, flow issues, pressure vessel leaks, steam traps issues, arcing, corona, and tracking of your electrical distribution systems.
Vibration Analysis
Vibration analysis is a non-destructive method for identifying precursors to machine failure. This method observes vibrations and breaks them down into individual frequencies that experts can examine for abnormalities. Vibration analysis can find issues such as misalignment, imbalance, mechanical looseness, bent shafts, improper lubrication, bearing and gearbox failures, pump cavitation, and electrical motor faults.
