Nondestructive inspection (NDI), commonly known as nondestructive testing (NDT), examines structures, materials, and components without damaging the subject. This process analyzes material defects and discontinuities at surface and sub-surface levels.

NDI Testing Lab at ATS
The ATS Family of Companies possesses an NDI testing lab to test and analyze various materials, including aluminum, composites, copper, plastics, steel, and titanium. We regularly conduct radiography inspections for welder qualifications and liquid penetrant/magnetic particle testing on first article items. We troubleshoot issues to assist clients in detecting equipment failure that results in revenue loss, unplanned downtime, personnel injury, and other adverse effects.
