Like other measurement and analysis devices, spectrum analyzers eventually drift out of tolerance and require regular calibration. ATS’ calibration experts start by performing an initial inspection in our temperature, vibration, and humidity-controlled laboratory. The spectrum analyzer is then used to take measurements that are compared to a known reference standard to identify any inconsistencies. Our technicians calibrate the device’s frequency, amplitude, resolution bandwidth (RBW), video bandwidth (VBW), and reference level, documenting each step of the process. All clients receive a thorough calibration report that includes detailed accounts of initial findings, adjustments, any necessary repairs, final results, and a calibration certificate.
