Vane Anemometer Calibration

Applied Technical Services is an industry leading engineering firm, delivering fully accredited vane anemometer calibration services to reduce the risk of measurement inaccuracy. Testing is undertaken at our ISO 17025 accredited instrument calibration laboratory, which is monitored for environmental fluctuations like humidity and temperature to assure consistent repeatability and efficiency. Our laboratory is one of the most expansive and highly sophisticated facilities in North America. It houses state-of-the-art technology that allows our dedicated experts to calibrate precision measuring equipment with unparalleled accuracy.

State-of-the-art Equipment
Our calibration lab is well equipped with a custom fabricated Eiffel-type wind tunnel that provides an improved test uncertainty ratio and more environmental control than ever before. This powerful machinery is capable of sourcing a uniform flow rate of wind velocities up to 35 m/s (6,890 FPM) at an accuracy of less than 1.2 percent. This high level of precision provides clients with the peace of mind of knowing their vane anemometers are calibrated correctly.

We realize how critical equipment like vane anemometers are to our clients’ work. Because of this, we place the utmost importance on quality. We approach every assignment with the expectation that our work is to be thoroughly audited for quality by our customers and other third parties. Vane anemometers are examined further for any chips, cracks, or burs in the vane blade. All calibration measurements are performed according to the specifications of documented procedures and data generated is traceable to The National Institute of Standards and Technology. ATS professionals examine vane anemometers further and compare calibrations directly against our ISO 17025 calibrated anemometers to provide assurance that our measurements are unequivocally precise.

Average turnaround times are between 5-7 business days. Expedited turnaround is also available. If you are in need of vane anemometer calibration, feel free to contact us today.
