At Applied Technical Services, our UT training classes are designed to give students a better understanding of a number of core competencies resulting in application of inspections in product forms and structures, such as castings, forgings, weldments, and various materials.
UT Training Level I – 40 Hours
Level I training courses begin with the fundamentals of Ultrasonics. Students will participate in a wide range of practical laboratory exercises, giving them real-world experience in terms of thickness gauging, flaw detection, mapping, and more. Level I courses are designed for technicians who come into the class with little to no ultrasonic testing experience.
