The Applied Technical Services Family of Companies performs pressure gauge calibration services in our state-of-the-art laboratory.

Pressure Gauges

A pressure gauge is an instrument that measures the liquid, solid, gas, and vapor intensity inside a pressure-powered machine. It ensures that no factors, such as pressure changes or leaks, can affect the system’s performance.

The Importance of Pressure Gauge Calibration

Using uncalibrated pressure gauges can result in faulty products, production downtime, and safety issues. Pressure gauge calibration retains the integrity of instruments, guaranteeing accurate measurements.

How Pressure Gauge Calibration Works

Pressure gauge calibration ensures accurate readings that meet both safety and compliance standards. There are multiple methods of calibration for pressure gauges, and an experienced professional must perform whichever option is chosen. It is strongly recommended that pressure gauges are calibrated every 12 months. If left uncalibrated for longer, there is a possibility that the equipment will succumb to drift, potentially leading to major production issues.

Pressure Gauge Calibration Services at ATS

ATS’ Family of Companies combines dry air systems, generating pressures between 0.001 in. H2O and 1,000 psig. We utilize accurate dead weight systems that calibrate pressure gauges between 15,000 psig with alcohol/water and 40,000 psig with hydraulic oils. We configure and reconfigure pressure transducers to displays, calibrate all types of vacuums with an accurate vacuum source, and outsource all oxygen cleaning needs.

Types of Pressure Gauges We Calibrate:

  • Pressure Gauges
  • Compound Pressure Gauges
  • Pressure Transmitters
  • Pressure Transducers With/Without Display
  • Differential Pressure Gauges
  • Anti-Skid Test Sets
  • Manometers
  • Magnehelic Pressure Gauges
  • Photohelic Pressure Gauges
  • Vacuum Gauges

Quality Standards and Protocols

All calibrations include As Found and As Left Data with traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and are conducted in compliance with controlled and documented procedures. Our quality assurance system meets all ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, ISO 9001:2015, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR Part 21 requirements.

We grant clients access to our web-based interface to view digital copies of their asset history, current asset status, calibration certificates, and due date reports.
