How Does Scale Calibration Work?
Applied Technical Services performs scale calibration services through our state-of-the-art calibration lab. Proper calibration of scales is vital to producing accurate results, especially in laboratory or factory settings.
If your scaleโs calibration tolerance is incorrect, our technicians can calculate the correct calibration tolerance and remedy that issue. Additionally, scales may be factory-calibrated at the time of purchase, which may not suit your needs. The professionals at ATS can calibrate your scales to the relevant standard.
The ATS calibrations lab provides scale calibration services for the following types of scales:
ATS Calibrations Lab
Our calibration labs employ the latest technology to deliver reliable, accurate inspections and calibrations. Precise climate control settings allow us to keep our accredited lab within two degrees of 68ยฐF and resting at a 30-55% relative humidity as necessary for the samples undergoing calibration. The isolation joints in our labโs floors dampen the vibrations caused by normal activity.
Our calibrators meticulously clean all scales and then store them for at least 24 hours to allow sufficient time to acclimate to the ambient temperature before we begin calibrations. These experts conduct scale calibrations regularly, using their expertise to ensure a quick turnaround on client samples.
Quality Assurance
ATS has provided high-quality customer service for over 55 years. We dedicate ourselves to providing high-quality testing, inspection, and certification services that align with our ISO 9001:2015-registered quality management system and performing work according to the scope of our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.
All calibrations performed by our lab are traceable to NIST, The National Institute of Standards and Technology. Clients can access their calibration statuses, results, and certificates at all times on our client portal.
