You can trust the ATS Family of Companies (FoC) for weight calibration services that align with your metrological needs. Our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration labs offer a wide range of capabilities for different types of weights and designs. We offer calibration in accordance with the most recent ANSI/ASTM, National Bureau of Standards, International Organization of Legal Metrology, and NIST specifications.
The Importance of Test Weight Calibrations
Weight calibration is an essential component of the manufacturing and testing process. The regular calibration of test weights is critical for maintaining precise measurements and effective test procedures, quality control efforts, and research and development strategies.
Our Weight Calibration Services
Our weight calibration services are an effective way to ensure the masses of your test weights remain accurate and in alignment with industry standards. Variations in a weightโs mass can have disastrous effects on an application, so our calibration professionals handle your equipment with extreme care.
We calibrate a wide range of test types, including but not limited to:
- Stainless steel weights
- Precision weights
- Cast-iron weights
- Pound weights
- Hook weights
- Metric weights
- Hanging weights
Our calibration services benefit companies in various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation.
Adherence to Standards and Specifications
Our Standards Lab is environmentally controlled for high precision measurement capabilities. The lab is controlled to temperatures within 67-69 หF and a relative humidity of 30-55%. The lab also has isolation joints in the flooring to reduce any vibration effects. All instruments are cleaned prior to testing and are placed in the Standards Lab to stabilize to room temperatures for a minimum of 24 hours before we begin the calibration procedure.
We Are Dedicated to Quality
All calibrations are traceable to NIST measurements and performed in accordance with documented and controlled procedures. Clients have 24/7 access to digital copies of their calibration certificates, as well as due dates, past reports, and As Found and As Left Data on our secure client portal.
Our Quality Assurance system complies with the applicable requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR Part 21. We are an ISO 9001:2015 registered company with labs that maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditations through periodic audits from A2LA. ATS regularly participates in โRound Robin Gage Measurement Proficiency Testingโ in accordance with our calibration accreditations.
