Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) affect the air quality of vehicle compartments, which is commonly associated with “new car smell.” Automobile odor is a result of chemical emissions from plastics, coatings, foams, textiles, and leathers. Improving and managing car interior air quality by reducing the presence of off-gassing VOCs is imperative to passenger health.
