How Our Large Assembly Corrosion Chamber Works
With internal dimensions of 3.0m x 4.4m x 3.5m (W x D x H), we can test fully assembled assets without dismantling them. Components taller than 96 inches, however, must be assembled inside the chamber. Under accelerated testing conditions, our engineers and technicians test metal assets exposed to multiple types of environmental corrosion simultaneously. Our advanced large assembly corrosion chamber supports a wide range of environmental testing methods simultaneously, including:
- Standard Salt Fog Testing (ISO 50014, DIN EN ISO 9227, ASTM B117, JIS Z2371)
- Cyclic Corrosion Testing
- Condensation Testing (DIN EN ISO 6370-2)
- High Temperature Testing up to 80°C
- Cold Temperature Testing down to -40°C
- Humidity Testing (100% RH)
