Our superb Tensile Testing services here at Applied Technical Services has a broad range of capabilities. Our various methods and mechanical equipment are used to determine materials tensile properties required in the product specifications. ATS Tensile Testing Lab standard methods are used to check requirements of the mechanical values for aluminum, steels, stainless steels, copper, brass, plastics and other materials. Our Tensile Testing machines can measure tensile, yield, elongation, reduction of area and force.

ATS Tensile Testing Services

Applied Technical Services is a laboratory accredited by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in multiple practices including mechanical, chemistry, calibration, and nondestructive testing. It is the policy of ATS to provide clients with the top-notch quality of services including unclouded and accurate test results in accordance with our clients and standard specifications. Our technicians are well qualified, driven for perfection and are service time focused.

Range of Abilities

  • Mechanical Testing Lab – Maximum force capacity is 400,000lbs. Maximum elevated temperatures up to 1800°F
  • Polymers Testing Lab – Maximum force capacity is 10,000lbs. Reduced and elevated temperatures ranging from -70 °C to 250°C (-19°F to 482°F).
