Applied Technical Services’ Certified Forensic Expert service offerings include forensic investigations as well as litigation support. We offer services including forensic locksmithing, crash reconstruction, elevator investigations, and forensic construction.

Certified Forensic Expert Investigation and Testimony Services
ATS features teams of Certified Forensic Experts with various specialties and certifications, from ACTAR-certified crash reconstruction experts to Qualified Elevator Consultants (QEC). Our forensic investigators have decades of experience working in the field and conducting testing in our highly advanced forensics laboratory, while our expert witnesses provide legal counsel and litigation support in and out of the courtroom.

ATS features a state-of-the-art forensic testing laboratory located in Marietta, Georgia, where we also provide evidence storage in our secure, climate-controlled 20,000 square foot evidence storage facility. Calibrations: ATS performs calibrations and inspections for aviation equipment and machinery, CT scanning and analysis, mechanical tool calibrations, CMM calibrations, electrical calibrations, dimensional calibrations, thermal measurement equipment calibrations, and several other types of calibration services.

Engineering: We offer materials engineering, mechanical engineering, reliability engineering and testing, welding engineering, safety engineering, structural engineering, and welding engineering.

Inspections: ATS performs NDT inspections, weld inspections, dimensional inspections, tank inspections, fall protection and safety inspections, rope access system inspections, and first article inspections.

IT Consulting: Abel Solutions, an Applied Technical Services company, offers several types of IT consulting services, including but not limited to quality management solutions, cybersecurity, business process automation, and critical business applications. Our IT experts have the knowledge, experience, and resources to provide intelligent automation, technology strategy, and collaboration enablement with custom portals.
Testing and Analysis: Applied Technical Services has over five decades of experience as a mechanical, materials, consumer product, environmental, nondestructive, and electrical testing service provider. Additionally, ATS specializes in failure analysis, metallurgical analysis, and chemical analysis services.

NDT Training: ATS offers several different NDT training courses, including ultrasonic testing training, radiation safety training, visual testing and inspections, radiography training, magnetic particle testing training, liquid penetrant testing training, aircraft inspection training, eddy current testing training, infrared testing training, and alternating current field measurement training. We also provide NDT consulting services, such as program development, evaluations, project management, procedure writing, and personnel certification.

Rope Access: ATS’ Rope Access Division offers rope access training and certification courses in our state-of-the-art rope access facility in Marietta, GA. This training consists of a 5-day SPRAT certification course that includes four days of course training and an examination on the final day. ATS offers levels I, II, and III SPRAT certification.
Reliability Training: ATS offers reliability and failure analysis courses for reliability engineers, plant engineers, maintenance supervisors, and maintenance mechanics and technicians. These courses can be either public or private and include hands-on experience instructed by reliability professionals.
