ASTM D4541: Pull-Off Strength Testing for Coatings
ASTM D4541 (ASTM D4541-22) is a testing standard that details the test methods used to perform pull-off strength testing on coatings through use of portable adhesion testers. This standard establishes preparation, testing, evaluation, and reporting procedures for coating pull-off testing and covers aspects such as pull rate, coating scoring, load fixture size, glue and adhesive details, substrate coating cure time, and environmental conditions.
