ASTM F88 Testing

What is ASTM F88?
The American Society for Testing and Materials developed F88 as a standard test method for assessing the seal strength of flexible barrier materials often used in medical packaging. ASTM F88 determines how adept a package seal is at resisting separation. The standard is popular amongst medical packaging manufacturers because it’s highly effective at ensuring that a package’s seal can maintain the sterility of the package’s contents.
