Ultrasonic flowmeter Calibration

The Applied Technical Services Family of Companies (FoC) provides professional ultrasonic flow meter calibration services.
What is an Ultrasonic Flowmeter?

Ultrasonic flowmeters are volumetric flowmeters that measure the flow rates of liquids through non-intrusive methods. Ultrasonic flowmeters are ideal for water-based, corrosive, and hazardous liquids that may otherwise not be compatible with other flowmeters. There are two types of ultrasonic flowmeters: transit time and Doppler meters. Ideal for high flow ranges and large-diameter pipes, transit time ultrasonic flowmeters measure the transit time of an ultrasonic signal as it reaches the first and second transducer. Doppler ultrasonic flow meters use the principle of the Doppler effect to measure a fluid’s velocity.

Ultrasonic flowmeters offer several advantages over many other types of flowmeters, including:
Our Flowmeter Calibration Services

We maintain state-of-the-art calibration facilities with multiple calibration systems, enabling us to calibrate various flowmeters from different manufacturers. We offer calibrations for the following systems:

We calibrate our lab equipment in compliance with MIL-STD-45662A, ensuring our equipment remains accurate after repeated use.

Why is it Important to Calibrate Ultrasonic Flowmeters?

A flowmeter’s accuracy is only as reliable as the quality of its calibration. Fortunately, our calibration lab provides clients with highly accurate calibrations that help them do the following:
