Feeler Gage Calibration

Applied Technical Services Standards lab can perform Feeler Gage calibration in our state-of-the-art calibration laboratories. Feeler gages are a type of thickness gage used to measure small gaps between surfaces. The tool has several blades or leaves at varying specified thicknesses. Feeler gages are typically made of stainless or tempered steel to prevent rusting.
The ATS Standards Lab

The ATS Dimensional Lab lives within a room designed for high precision environmental control. The lab is maintained at 68 ° F within +/- 2.0 ° F and the resting humidity stays within a range of 30-55% as appropriate. The lab floor contains isolation joints that reduce any effects caused by vibrations. Feeler gages are thoroughly cleaned and placed into the Dimensional lab to stabilize to a specific temperature for at least 24 hours before calibration begins.
