Gage Calibration Services

The Applied Technical Services Family of Companies (ATS FoC) provides a comprehensive range of gage calibration services, quickly and effectively returning critical equipment to tolerance. Professionals in many industries rely on gages when making operational decisions for quality control, dimensional comparisons, and regulatory compliance. Our experts know firsthand the importance of measurement accuracy and compliance, which is why they approach calibrating metrological equipment with the highest care and attention.
Accredited Calibration Labs
We accept shipments to our A2LA-accredited labs, the first of which has been in operation since 1987. Our experts’ familiarity with gages and procedures contributes to our quick turnaround rate. The ATS lab has achieved a standard turnaround rate of 7 to 10 business days.

All gauges are given at least 24 hours upon arrival to stabilize in the environmentally controlled lab before calibration. Our lab remains within 2 degrees of 68 ˚ F, the ideal temperature for calibration, with a relative humidity between 30-55%. Some of the gages we work with are extremely sensitive, so our lab floors contain isolation joints to absorb vibrations caused by nearby movement and daily operations. These controls help ensure maximum calibration efficacy.

What Gages Can the ATS FoC Calibrate?

The ATS FoC staff applies decades of combined expertise in electrical, dimensional, and mechanical calibrations to identify problems and solutions quickly. Our experts compare readings across the gage’s range with a NIST-traceable standard value, then ensure the gage performs within tolerances set by the manufacturer or client.

ATS calibrates standards and working gages from classes XXX, XX, XY, Z, and ZZ from well-known manufacturers, such as Meyer, Vermont, Glastonbury Southern, and Starrett. The calibration lab accepts a range of analog and digital devices, including:
