Badger Meter Calibration

The Applied Technical Services Family of Companies (FoC) provides Badger Meter calibration services for critical flow meters and processes. ISO 17025-Accredited Facilities
ATS Marietta’s ISO 17025-accredited calibration lab offers precise calibrations from experienced professionals. Their comprehensive training and familiarity with sophisticated calibration procedures help them reach a standard turnaround rate of 7 to 10 business days.
Send your device to our state-of-the-art facilities for inspection and calibration in our ISO 17025-accredited lab. For optimal precision, we give all incoming shipments at least 24 hours to stabilize before proceeding with services. The lab’s temperature is maintained within 2 degrees of 68 ˚ F and between 35 to 55% relative humidity (RH). Additionally, the isolation joints in the calibration lab floors absorb vibrations as our experts move across the lab.
NIST-Traceable Liquid and Gas Calibrations
In our standard calibration procedure, a technician compares the Badger Meter device with a NIST-traceable reference at multiple points on the meter’s range. ATS calibrates gas flow meters up to 159 gpm (600 slm) using nitrogen gas as the calibration medium. Our liquid flow meters achieve a flow rate range of up to 600 gpm (2,271 lpm) with 2% uncertainty.

The ATS FoC expands our laboratory capabilities to reach a greater flow range with overlapping NIST-traceable calibration systems. FoC member Graftel calibrates air flow meters capable of detecting up to 6,734 gpm (25,491 lpm) with maximum uncertainties of 0.15% of reading. Graftel also calibrates water flow meters up to 700 gpm (2,650 lpm). Our best measurement capability is between 0.06% and 0.1% of the reading.

Our calibration experts ensure the device continues to provide readings within acceptable tolerances set by Badger Meter or the client, closely following Badger Meter’s instructions for adjustments when necessary.

24/7 Certificate of Calibration Access
An ATS calibration technician will summarize the flow meter’s conditions and adjustments in a professional certificate of calibration available on iPortal, our secure web platform. iPortal helps clients organize their calibration records and schedules with digital access to downloadable and printable certificates of calibration, asset histories, and the calibration statuses of essential equipment.
