As the name suggests, an air flow meter measures the mass of air flowing through a tube. Various industries, such as manufacturing, HVAC, and environmental monitoring applications, rely on the results yielded by air flow meters.
Air flow meter calibrations ensure that air flow meters are accurate and reliable. Clients should schedule flow meter calibrations regularly to ensure that flow meters remain reliable throughout their service life. Continual use, corrosion, and debris can compromise flow meter measurements, leading to costly inconsistencies. Calibrations help to ensure that air flow measurements are trustworthy while doing the following:

Our Flow Meter Calibration Services

Our experienced experts conduct air flow calibrations using a Fluke molboc/molbox1+ gas flow calibration system capable of calibrating a wide range of flows. During calibration, our technicians compare the measurements obtained from our clients’ devices to a known reference standard. Our technicians will verify that the device is properly calibrated if its readings align with the readings of the known reference. We offer the following air flow calibrations test ranges:

  • Mass Flow Rate: 0.0002 pound mass per second (.2 SCFM)
  • Maximum Mass Flow Rate: 16 pound mass per second (12,800 SCFM)
  • Maximum MUT pressure: 135 pound force per square inch
Our calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, ensuring our calibrations adhere to industry guidelines. Our quality assurance system complies with the following:
