Crane Scale Calibration
Applied Technical Services’ metrology department offers crane scale calibration for clients in various industries. Our lab technicians can ensure your crane scale is calibrated to your individual needs as well as applicable industry standards.
Crane scales are used in a range of applications to weigh hanging loads that are difficult to weigh on a conventional scale. However, scales do not maintain their accuracy indefinitely. Crane scales should be periodically calibrated according to manufacturer specifications for accurate and uniform operation. If not properly adjusted, crane scale equipment can leave measurement data compromised and pose a safety risk for personnel.
With a tension and compression capability of 0 to 100,000 lbf, our lab is fully equipped to ensure crane scales operate securely while also accurately recording weight measurements. Data reported in our calibration certificates are traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and include As Found and As Left data.
ATS services crane scales from a number of manufacturers, including (but not limited to):
We keep calibration records management simple. Clients can access records such as calibration certificates, future recall dates, and more from the secure iPortal web platform.
